A destination beach wedding… just the words invite you to dream up a perfect day. Beautiful skies, stunning water, white sands and two people in love surrounded by those who love and support them the most. Janna & Jason experienced every bit of that on their wedding day at the Sirata Beach Resort. When I arrived there was a lot of laughter that filled the bride’s room as she was getting her final touches done. I watched Janna interact with her wedding party and step-daughter, and I realized that she is truly surrounded by people that love & adore her…and that this is because she truly loves and adores them! That is such a blessing in and of itself. I knew then, without even having met Jason yet, that he would be the same. I was right. Together, they are the most loving parents, they went out of their way to include…no, to share their wedding day with Jason’s kids. After all, this was a special day for all of them. They really could not have had a more beautiful day, it was so perfect. The wedding decor & set up was stunning, Stephanie Voth Events did a beautiful job, […]

As I finish up the editing for Joanna & Phil’s wedding, I just wanted to take a second and share this for them & their guests. It was such a beautiful day to remember, and I hope they will forever enjoy and love their images. Photographing weddings is such a joy to me. It’s so personal, and it has so much meaning. When I look at photographs I can hear the laughter, the funny jokes, or the sweet whispers. That’s exactly what happens as I go through Joanna & Phil’s images. I remember the laughter as Joanna was getting her dress on and the nerves & excitement just before the first look, and the relief & love shared in the moments just after. They were surrounded by so many people who love & support their marriage, and because of that I know that they will be looking through their wedding photos in 30 years laughing & smiling as they remember their day!

Kelsey & Gary’s DIY Barn wedding | Lange Farm | Tampa wedding photography

The Lange farm has to be one of my favorite venues. A beautiful farm covered with stunning trees. The barn is nestled in the back, blue with white trimming and lights strung over the outdoor reception space. Guests took a short walk down a path way and found the ceremony under a beautiful tree with hanging lanterns. Kelsey and Gary had a beautiful ceremony, together with Kelsey’s adorable son, they had a little sand ceremony just before saying their vows, and before the became husband and wife! At the reception the guests ate the most amazing BBQ food, catered by Hungry Harry’s . If you haven’t had it, you simply have to try! The rest of the night was spent dancing, laughing, and even singing. Everyone had the most amazing time, and there was absolutely no shortage of fun!!!!
